WORK YOU’LL DO 

As a Technology Consultant or Analyst in our Financial Services Consulting practice, you will be at the core of understanding and responding to our clients' technology challenges.  You will be working with clients to understand the impact of emerging technology trends like Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain on their Business and Operating Models. You will be helping the CIOs of major Financial Institution in shaping their organization’s technology strategy, technology landscape and improving the capabilities and ways of working of their IT Function. You will draw on the collective experience of Accenture globally to help shape technology transformation journeys for our clients and will get involved in delivering this technology change to drive value in our client’s business.

Responsibilities: 

• Decompose key business problems to identify value areas and structure and implement complex technology solutions for the client
• Create innovative and differentiated offerings, staying relevant and in sync with market demand and technology evolution
• Deliver advisory services in support of technology enabled business change, e.g.: package & third-party integrator selection, vendor selection, application studies, solution architecture studies and/or program diagnostics and recovery.
• Deliver advisory services to the IT function: CIO/CTO/CDO
• Interviewing client staff to understand key issues with how they operate today and identify opportunities for improvement in their operations and technology landscape
• Leveraging Accenture’s international assets and expertise to bring new ideas to clients
• Supporting the development of improved capabilities in clients across business processes, people and technology
• Developing business cases and implementation roadmaps to support investment decisions
• Providing project management and change management support on large scale transformation projects

Basic qualifications

• BSc with distinction or honors from a Top University, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
• MSc from a top rated international university in a relevant subject or MBA from a top rated international business school (distinction would be considered a plus)
• CIMA, PRM, FRM, PMP certifications will be considered a plus
• For Consultant position prior consulting experience – minimum 4 years – with a leading strategy house, Big 4 consulting practice, consulting arms of main technology firms or internal consulting department of multinational is a prerequisite. For Analyst position any prior consulting experience with a leading strategy house, Big 4 consulting practice, consulting arms of main technology firms or internal consulting department of multinational will be considered an asset
• Prior experience in Banking covering the areas of Retail, Finance, Risk, Credit, Operations and IT will be considered an asset
• Highly collaborative, team-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead project working groups and possesses strong facilitation and data gathering skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
• Good time management skills
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-IT clients and colleagues
